Meet Betty, a precious 12-pound dachshund mix who we believe is around 8 years old. Betty is pure sweetness, cuddly, gentle, and happiest when curled up in your lap. She has a kind soul and a loving heart, and all she truly wants is to be someones devoted little companion. It's clear Betty has likely spent much of her life being used for breeding, and we are beyond grateful those days are now behind her. She came to us through a private rescuer after it was discovered her previous family no longer wanted her - something we simply cannot imagine! Betty is ready to leave her past behind and spend her golden years exactly as she deserves: cherished, safe, and deeply loved.

Betty would thrive in a home where she can be showered with affection and enjoy a life of comfort and love.

Ongoing Health

Betty comes spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate core vaccines. She has also been tested for Chagas, heartworm, and tick-borne illnesses, and is current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and deworming.

Training & Support

Betty is a gentle soul who is ready to learn and be loved. We encourage continued positive reinforcement training to help her thrive.
