Pearl

Pearl is a petite senior girl with the sweetest soul and the kindest eyes, quietly waiting for someone to see her for who she truly is. At only about 35 lbs, Pearl is a small, gentle dog who has clearly not had an easy road. She arrived very underweight and is currently dealing with a significant skin condition, but through it all, she has remained unbelievably sweet, patient, and loving. She leans into affection, seeks out gentle attention, and just wants to be close to someone who cares. Despite not feeling her best, Pearl has shown us nothing but kindness. She has a soft, easygoing nature and a quiet presence that makes you want to sit with her, comfort her, and help her feel safe. She is the kind of dog who forms a deep bond with her person and will be endlessly grateful for a second chance. Pearl appears to be dog friendly, though we have not completed a full dog test yet as she continues to recover and gain strength. We estimate Pearl to be around 7 years old.

Ideal Home

Pearl would do best in a calm, loving home where she can continue to heal, both physically and emotionally. She will need an adopter who can provide patience, proper care, and the understanding that she deserves time to recover and truly shine.
