Diesel Donut is here to bring all the joy and wiggles into your life! He's a 48-pound, approximately 2-year-old pittie mix with a heart full of happiness and a personality that's as infectious as his playful spirit. Diesel might not be a "high-octane" speed demon, but he's got plenty of energy for mini-zoomies and is always ready to play with his favorite toys. He’s a people-loving boy who’s happy to be your loyal shadow and an oversized lap dog.
Ideal Home
Diesel would be happiest in a home with a yard where he can really stretch his legs and enjoy his toys. While he might adapt to apartment living with enough exercise and adventure, a yard would be ideal for him to zoom and play fetch to his heart's content. He enjoys meeting new people and walks nicely on leash, though he can get a bit excited and bark when passing other dogs. He would do best with a confident, playful female dog who can match his energy, or he'd be perfectly happy as your one and only furry companion. Diesel would not be a good fit for a home with cats, as he sees them as playmates for a game of chase.

Diesel is a healthy boy who has been fully vetted, including vaccinations, deworming, and he is microchipped.
Training & Support
Diesel is crate and house-trained and settles nicely overnight. He can get a bit excited and bark when passing other dogs on leash, but he is very receptive to gentle corrections and boundaries, and with consistent training, he will quickly learn what is expected. He is a young, active dog who will benefit from ongoing training, structure, and plenty of playtime to keep him happy and well-adjusted.

Transporation
Diesel is currently fostered in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide with our own USDA-certified transport system, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up points in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real time, receive photo updates, and connect with other adopters through a private Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies for transport.
