Hi there, I'm Jace, a sweet and loving 55-pound bulldog mix with a heart full of cuddles! I'm a smart boy who enjoys learning new things, especially when treats are involved. I've already mastered "sit," "down," and "leave it," and I'm eager to learn more. My favorite pastimes include playing fetch (though I'm not always great at sharing the ball!), tug-of-war, and cuddling up with my favorite Kong toy, bones, or stuffed animals. I love to be by your side, following you around the house and enjoying your company. I might not realize how big I am, but I promise I'll fill your lap with love!
Ideal Home
Jace would do best in a home where he can be your one and only furry friend. He can be a bit iffy with other dogs, likely due to past experiences rather than true aggression. He also needs to be the only pet in the home if there are cats, as he tends to guard his food.
Ongoing Health
Jace has a facial asymmetry on one side of his face, which the vet believes is due to an old injury. This does not affect his health or his loving nature. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and has successfully completed heartworm treatment.
Training & Support
Jace is potty and crate trained and walks well on a leash. He is working on his food guarding behavior and would benefit from a home that can continue to reinforce positive training and provide clear boundaries around his meals.
