Miso is a gorgeous and loving girl with expressive eyes that seem to say, "please love me!". She is extremely friendly, adores meeting new people, and loves to play with other large dogs. Miso is excitable and energetic, and would be thrilled to accompany you on daily walks, hikes, or runs. She is very cuddly and affectionate, and would settle into a home well after getting her exercise in. Miso is interested in all kinds of toys and will gently take any treat. She often bunny hops around as a show of celebration for her freedom to run and have fun. Miso will be a great addition to a family, especially if you already have another dog her size for her to play with!
Ideal Home
Miso would thrive in an active home that enjoys walking, hiking, and family fun. She needs plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation to be her happiest self. While not yet tested with children, she is presumed to do well and can be taught not to jump up when expressing her love and excitement. She is not a good fit for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Miso is spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate shots, micro-chipped, tested for heartworm, and receives monthly heartworm preventative medication. She is also de-wormed.
Training & Support
Miso knows the commands "Sit" and "Down." While she walks fairly well on leash, she can be jumpy when excited and can learn to express her affection in other ways. High Sierra Animal Rescue provides training advice and one-on-one help with adopted dogs as needed.
