Ongoing Health

All vetting is included in the adoption fee, which covers DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, FVCRP vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.

Training & Support

Bandelier is a rescue animal and may require continued training efforts and understanding. The organization provides behavior and medical care, socialization through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, and works on skills such as leash training and basic commands.

Transporation

Bandelier is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Pets are transported via air-conditioned buses with two drivers and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Transport pick-up locations are determined with the help of an Adoption Coordinator. For those picked up at the Angleton, TX location, the adoption fee is $75.
