Meet Violet! This sweet and loyal girl is about 1.5 years old and is ready to find her forever home. Violet was found roaming the streets of Houston, TX, but she still came out the other side with a heart full of trust and love. She's a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface to reach you for affection. Her tongue is always out, ready for a happy lick! Violet is loyal to her core, walks great on a leash, and is fully potty trained. She's good with dogs of all sizes and gains a lot of confidence from having canine friends around. While she's generally kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones. Violet knows "sit" and is making great progress with place and crate training. She is terrified of squeaky toys but is obsessed with the hose and playing tug. Violet has survived so much and still chooses to trust people. She has been shining at adoption events, meeting all kinds of people and dogs.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home with an adopter willing to continue building her confidence through training. Having another dog friend in the home would be wonderful for her, as she gains confidence from other dogs. She is a little scared of loud little ones.

Violet is spayed and vaccinated.
