Copper

Copper is a sweet, approximately one-year-old female foxhound who arrived as a stray with no identification. She's currently enjoying life with a pack of dogs and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. Copper is a spirited girl who can be a bit stubborn, and she's working on her manners around unfamiliar dogs. She would thrive with an experienced dog owner, especially one familiar with hunting breeds. While she enjoys canine companionship, Copper could also be a happy solo pup if she receives plenty of exercise and attention. This energetic girl would not be the best fit for first-time dog owners or homes with small children. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and is all set to join her forever family.

Ideal Home

An experienced dog owner, preferably with hunting breeds, is ideal. Copper would do well as an only dog if given sufficient exercise and attention, but she also loves playing with dogs she knows. She is not recommended for new dog owners or homes with small children.

Ongoing Health

Copper is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Copper is learning leash manners and needs further training around unfamiliar dogs. She can be a bit stubborn.
