Babe Pickles is a handsome young pup who came to K-9 Lifesavers from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama, where adoption opportunities are unfortunately few and far between. Thankfully, Pickles was given a second chance and is now ready to find the loving forever family he deserves.

Pickles is everything you could want in a puppy—friendly, affectionate, playful, and always ready for fun. He enjoys spending time with people and gets along great with other dogs, making him a wonderful companion for both humans and canine friends alike. At his young age, Pickles is in his prime for training and socialization. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
