Meet Bloodhounds of Chappell Ranch East TX. Betsy Chappell is from Texas and breeds Bloodhounds. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual. *We are a LICENSED BREEDER in the STATE of TEXAS -What does this mean to you? Our home, Vet records, breeding facilities, as well as treatment of ALL of our animals, has been inspected in person by the State of Texas (only ~470 breeders are licensed in the State of TX) -We take our puppies (and ALL of our animals) to our regular veterinary clinic for evaluation, immunizations, and wormers (We do NOT self vaccinate by Tractor Supply/Atwoods, etc). -We do NOT require a deposit to hold your choice of puppy (Airport Transfer is an exception-$300 dep applies) -We will hold the puppy of "your choice" for up to 72 hours once it is ready to go (cleared by our vet and at LEAST 8 weeks old) -We can make other arrangements on a person to person basis to hold a puppy for longer -We are able to arrange for delivery to local airports (DFW, DAL, SHV) and obtain Travel Certificate -We pay for AKC REGISTRATION for each of our puppies(“Full” registration, not “limited”) What does this mean to you? You can breed and register offspring within your “breeding program” if you choose to do so -All puppies are MICROCHIPPED prior to sale, you will be able to sign up for AKCReunite with a discount provided by AKC for Lifetime Enrollment (~$25/lifetime) -We provide copies of BOTH parents Pedigrees (you can purchase a copy of your puppies Pedigree from AKC) -For the first 72 hours of transfer of puppy: we will cover Vet expenses for acute illness only or you may return the puppy for full refund -If your Vet finds a congenital problem with the puppy (within the above time frame) you may exchange the puppy for another, or return the puppy for full refund -The above refund/return policy (72 hour window) is only for acute, serious illness, or congenital abnormality, and you must have Veterinarian documentation for this policy to apply -We will ALWAYS accept the return of a puppy/adult dog at any time, and at any age, WITHOUT REFUND -This is a “no questions, no judgements” return policy, for the LIFE of the animal -We do NOT want any of our animals/puppies ultimately end up in shelters or euthanized -Sire of puppies has had GENETIC SCREENING/TESTING via AKC recommendations (some Bitches have as well) -We maintain a VERY close relationship with our local Veterinary clinic. All of our ADULTS offspring (puppies) have also had basic screenings beginning at 6 weeks of age (as well as with any additional Vet visits)
