Hailo

Meet Hailo, a charming 4-year-old, 70-lb American Staffordshire mix who perfectly balances playful energy with a laid-back demeanor. He's a big fan of his toys, splashing in water, a good chew bone, and a rousing game of fetch. But after all that fun, he's equally content to snuggle up on the couch for a well-deserved nap. Hailo is already house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and knows several commands like "sit," "up," "down," and "paw!" This sweet boy gets along with most dogs, especially those who are easygoing and don't have a confrontational spirit. Unfortunately, he's not the best fit for homes with cats. He hasn't had much experience with young children, and given his size, a home with older kids would be ideal. Hailo was found abandoned on a country road, but his spirit remains loving and loyal. He'd truly thrive with a patient and understanding person who will continue his training and help him feel secure.

Hailo would thrive in a home with older children, and while he enjoys the company of most dogs, he needs to be in a cat-free environment.
