Meet Tula Baloola!
Tula is a joyful, almost four-year-old Boxer/American Pitbull Terrier mix with a lively spirit and a sleek black coat tipped with a bright white chest patch. She's a medium-sized girl, weighing about 50 pounds, and she carries herself with the athletic bounce of a dog who loves movement, connection, and fun with her favorite people. Her greetings are unforgettable, featuring full-body tail wags, happy wiggles, and an enthusiastic little "arrrooooo" that sounds like she simply must tell you how excited she is to see you! Playtime is high on Tula's list of favorite activities, especially a good game of fetch followed by snuggles close to her favorite human. After a day filled with walks, play, and learning, she happily curls up beside her person for cozy rest, sometimes sharing soft snores.
Tula is smart, attentive, and eager to learn with positive reinforcement. She already knows "sit," "down," "leave it," and "focus," and has excellent recall, making training sessions fun and rewarding. Her "velcro" style affection means she loves staying close to her people, whether that means joining a car ride, heading out on an adventure, or relaxing at home.
Ideal Home
Tula needs a home without cats or small animals due to her strong prey drive. She is friendly with strangers and wonderful with children. She would thrive in a caring environment with an active individual or family who enjoys daily adventures.

Tula is healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Tula can sometimes become reactive when separated from other dogs by barriers, particularly when dogs pass by a chain-link fence. In those moments, her excitement and frustration can bubble over. With thoughtful management and continued positive reinforcement, Tula is learning calmer ways to handle these situations.
