Meet Red, our longest resident! This smiley guy is a 4-year-old pittie mix who has been with us for 1.5 years. Red was rescued from a rural Florida shelter that was devastated by hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024, and he's still patiently waiting for his forever home. He's an energetic and affectionate boy with a true zest for life. Red is a fan favorite for doggy day outs and fostering, and he's been wonderful in our care, enjoying playtime in the yard, zoomies with staff, and snuggles with volunteers. He is fully housetrained and guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

Ideal Home

Red is a ladies' man when it comes to dogs and people, and he tends to prefer the company of females. However, with slow and proper introductions, he can become friends with all.

Transporation

Red is located in South Carolina and we transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
