Dottie is a delightful 4-year-old, 62-pound female who is ready to bring her abundant love and goofy personality into your life! She's a loyal companion with a heart full of cuddles and a zest for playtime. Dottie's foster mom describes her as intelligent and incredibly food-motivated, making her a quick study when it comes to training. She's known to make her humans laugh with her unique character and will be happiest when she's right by your side. Dottie enjoys her rope toys and stuffies, and her favorite game is tug-of-war!
Ideal Home
Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home where she can enjoy at least one good walk or play session daily. She gets along well with other dogs, particularly larger, calmer ones, and would be content with one or two canine companions in a peaceful environment. Alternatively, she'd also be very happy as the sole pet, soaking up all the attention! While Dottie is generally friendly, she has had negative experiences with younger males and would do best in a home without young boys or teenagers, or an all-female household. She is fantastic when meeting women.

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, and is in excellent health, ready for a lifetime of happiness.
Training & Support
Dottie is a dream when it comes to house training and is fully potty trained. She's also crate trained and comfortable with free-roaming when left alone, though she may whine initially before settling down. While she walks beautifully on leash, she can pull and bark when she sees other dogs, suggesting continued positive reinforcement training in this area would be beneficial.
