Ideal Home

Sandy would do best in a home with at least one other dog, as this helps build her confidence. A secure, fenced yard is a must for her to safely explore. She is best suited for a home with older, respectful children who can give her the space she needs to feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is up-to-date on all her vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She has also received a 12-month heartworm preventative injection.

Training & Support

Sandy is fully crate trained and 100% potty trained. She walks beautifully on a leash and is non-reactive to common distractions. While she is not treat-motivated, she absolutely loves Colby Jack cheese, which is great for administering medication. She is quiet and rarely barks. Sudden movements can make her skittish, so patience and a supportive environment will help her continue to build confidence.

Sandy is located in the Greater Houston area. Transportation may be available to other locations, with an additional surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
