Mondo is a stunning, 5-6 year old, 50-55lb Australian Shepherd mix who is ready to find his forever family! Don't let his age fool you; Mondo is an active and playful boy who would love to join you on all your adventures. He has a striking charcoal grey coat with a white belly and beautifully spotted legs. Mondo is neutered, up-to-date on all his shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He's a happy, food-motivated boy who enjoys playtime and could even be your adventure buddy. He's also a smart cookie who knows basic commands and is eager to learn more!
Ideal Home
Mondo is not an apartment dog and needs a home where he can get regular exercise, whether it's through walks, hikes, or camping trips. He would do well as an only dog or with a canine companion, provided they are medium to large breeds, male or female. He can also live with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person, as long as he is an included member of the family's daily life. Mondo does not do well with tie-outs or electric fences.

Mondo is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Mondo is potty trained and crate trained. While he knows basic commands, he is not yet trained for off-leash activities. In his foster home, he has not had issues with fence climbing due to regular exercise and engagement. He needs to be an active part of the family and not left in the yard without interaction. He enjoys car rides and can relax on the couch for cuddles and movie time.
