Keri

Keri is a very well-mannered, though admittedly lazy, dog who arrived at our rescue originally from Kuwait in 2019. She had a tough start but was rescued and eventually made her way to us. She was adopted in 2020 but unfortunately lost her home through no fault of her own. Keri is significantly overweight, with only part of it attributed to her thyroid; the rest is due to being overfed and under-exercised. She's generally good with dogs her own size, but she's not a fan of "yippy" little dogs and would prefer to leave other dogs alone if they don't bother her. Keri is also not a cat person. She is a ride-or-die companion for one special person and would prefer an owner who is a bit of a social hermit, someone who just wants a dog to hang out with. If you're looking for a quiet companion to watch true crime docs with, Keri is your girl!

Ideal Home

Keri would thrive in a home with a moderately lazy owner who will commit to ensuring she gets a walk or two a day and is not overfed. She needs a dedicated person who she can bond with exclusively.

Ongoing Health

Keri is significantly overweight, with only part of it attributed to her thyroid.

Training & Support

Keri is exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. Her ideal weight is in the mid-40 pound range, and she is currently about 25% above that. Her new owner will need to manage her diet and exercise to help her reach a healthier weight.
