About Hallie- please read the bio

Hallie is a beautiful and unique girl with a lot of love to give, but she needs a special kind of family to help her blossom. As a stray for some time, she missed out on crucial socialization, making her shy and reserved with new people. This means Hallie won't greet you with a flurry of kisses right away; she might even hide at first. It could take weeks for her to feel comfortable and truly settle in. Once she does, though, she'll be your devoted sidekick! Hallie is also a vocal girl, often "talking" with sounds that suggest husky or another chatty breed in her mix. She is working on her crate training and is doing well overnight with her crate in the room, but she's not a fan of being crated and left alone. Hallie has puppy-level energy and a strong desire to chew, so be prepared for the demands of puppyhood and dedicate time to basic training. She adores other dogs and is very playful with them, and her foster parents believe another confident, friendly dog in the home would be a great asset for Hallie's adjustment. While she might not be a cuddly lap dog initially, patience and time will reveal her affectionate side. Hallie is making excellent progress with potty training in her foster home with a fenced yard and doggy door, and she's a food-motivated learner who doesn't mind thunder. She's eager to trust and be loved; it just takes a little understanding and time.
