PRINCESS (Bleeding Heart Society)

Princess is a truly special girl with a heart full of sunshine, despite a past that has been less than ideal. She's about 4 years old and weighs around 65 lbs. Princess is a lovey-dovey soul who will warm both your heart and your spirit. She was likely used for backyard breeding or discarded as a street dog, and was found wandering the grounds of an elementary school, leading Animal Control to be called due to concerns about a loose pitbull. Our assumption is she was dumped after being overbred.

Ideal Home

Princess would thrive in a home where she is made to feel like the special girl she is. Her ideal companion is someone willing to gently guide her as she transitions into her forever family and home.

Training & Support

Princess is crate-trained and keeps her kennel clean, suggesting she would learn to be house-trained quickly with consistent structure. She is smart, aware, and knows commands such as SIT, STAY, and DOWN. She is not prone to storm or separation anxiety and has no behavioral issues. Princess walks well on a leash and is well-mannered in the car. While she enjoys food and treats, she's not overly food-driven. Her prey drive appears to be normal and average. The only area for improvement noted is her house-training manners when it comes to her poop.
