Natalie

Natalie is an 8-year-old girl with a big personality, a smart mind, and a happy spirit. We rescued her after she had been surviving on her own in the orchards, scavenging for food under the cover of darkness. She was microchipped and we learned she had been given away and no one wanted her anymore. Despite everything she has been through, Natalie has never lost her love for life. She can be shy when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, her fun and affectionate personality shines through. Natalie is a very smart dog who listens well and enjoys having structure and consistency. While she loves to play and has plenty of energy for walks and exercise, she also knows how to relax and settle down when it's time. She rides great in the car, walks nicely on a leash without pulling, and enjoys spending time with her people. We were originally told Natalie wasn't good with other dogs, but through training, structure, and supervised exercise sessions, she has learned to do well with other large dogs. She responds well to guidance and continues to show how adaptable and willing to learn she is.
