Lucky

Meet Lucky, our beloved staff favorite who is ready to find his forever home! Lucky is a sweet soul looking for a patient and committed adopter, preferably female, who understands that building confidence and trust takes time. He's a smart boy who enjoys car rides, exploring the outdoors, and even attending training classes. After a day of adventure, Lucky loves to snuggle up with his favorite people. He bonds deeply with those he trusts, becoming a fiercely loyal companion.

Ideal Home

Lucky would do best in a home with another calm and confident dog, especially a female. He can be selective with male dogs but is willing to try! He would also be happy as the only dog, receiving all the attention. Lucky would prefer a home without cats or small animals. He can be nervous around small children, but may do well with dog-savvy teenagers. A designated safe space in the home for when visitors arrive would be beneficial.

Ongoing Health

Lucky is a healthy boy with no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Lucky takes time to warm up to new people, especially men. Patience and understanding will be key to helping him feel safe and build trust. He enjoys training classes and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement to help him grow in confidence.
