Zara

Hi, I'm Zara! I'm an approximately one-year-old, 35-pound bundle of joy who came to rescue from Southern California. Now I'm thriving in foster care and showing everyone what an incredible dog I am! I'm crate trained, a fantastic car rider, and doing great on leash. I love to play and have even started nose work, where I'm a natural! I'm also learning to be more relaxed in busy environments and am a pro at handling nail trims. With every day, my confidence grows, and I'm eager to find my forever people.

Ideal Home

I'm the perfect adventure buddy, small enough to go anywhere but sturdy enough to keep up with all your activities. Once I get to know you, I become a total snuggle bug! I would likely do best with older or dog-savvy children, as I can have a few playful herding tendencies.

My Embark DNA test is in the works, and we'll share those results once they're available.

Training & Support

I'm doing great on leash and am learning to relax in busy environments. I'm gaining confidence daily and am eager to continue learning.
