Santino

Santino is a handsome 2-year-old, 53-pound mixed breed boy who came to us as a fearful pup. He was shy, thin, and a little scared, but with the help of our dedicated volunteers, Santino is slowly blossoming and becoming more comfortable. He's now easy to leash and absolutely adores treats – they are definitely the way to his heart! While toys aren't his main interest, he enjoys a good chest scratch. One volunteer shared that Santino treats his yard like a snuffle mat, always on the hunt for hidden goodies! He's described as a "good hearted sweet and affectionate pup." Santino is a bit underweight and could benefit from gaining a few pounds. He has been neutered.

Training & Support

Santino is still learning to trust and gain confidence. Patience and positive reinforcement, especially with treats, will go a long way in helping him thrive.
