Mya

Mya is a sweet, intelligent girl with a big heart and an adventurous spirit. She's already off to a great start with her training in foster care; she knows "sit" and "off," and is doing well with going potty outside. She takes treats gently and has no signs of food aggression. Mya seems both dog- and kid-friendly, and she has a naturally affectionate, loving personality that shines through in everything she does.

Ideal Home

This active girl thrives when she can explore and burn off energy. Her ideal home would include a fenced yard or a committed owner who will ensure she gets plenty of daily exercise—this is a must for her happiness and well-being. Mya absolutely loves nature and is endlessly curious, always ready for her next adventure. She could do well as either an only dog or with a canine companion. She may have a slightly more dominant personality, but she gets along with other dogs, including more easygoing ones that accept her play style. Most of all, Mya would love a home where her people are around often or can include her in their daily lives; she truly just wants to be part of the family.

Training & Support

Mya is still working on her manners and would benefit from continued training with leash walking and crate use. She may do best with an anxiety crate setup to help her feel secure when alone.
