Kenai

Meet Kenai, a sweet and resilient mixed breed estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old. Kenai's journey to us was heartbreaking; she was found as a stray with a chain and trap dragging behind her. After a difficult rescue, it was discovered she had severe injuries to her front leg, requiring amputation. Despite this ordeal, Kenai has shown incredible strength and is adapting wonderfully to life as a tripod. She is a friendly, loving, and smart girl who gets along well with other dogs. We are committed to giving Kenai the happy ending she so richly deserves.

Ideal Home

Kenai would thrive in a home that can offer her patience and understanding as she continues to adjust.

Ongoing Health

Kenai has had her front leg amputated due to injuries. She is currently on the road to recovery and learning to navigate with three legs.

Training & Support

Like all rescue dogs, Kenai will benefit from continued training and socialization to help her flourish in her new home.
