Jade is currently fostered in a lively home with six other dogs and two cats, and she fits right into the pack. She absolutely loves other animals and draws a lot of her confidence from being around them. In fact, she would do best in a home with another friendly, playful dog who can help guide her, keep her company, and be her playmate. She truly lights up when she has a canine friend nearby—it helps her feel grounded and happy. With cats, Jade is respectful and gentle. She's curious and interested in interacting, so she would do best with a dog-savvy cat who can confidently set boundaries. When they do, she listens and adjusts well. She just really wants to be part of the group and share space and energy with everyone around her. Because of her breed mix, Jade is very intelligent and very driven. She's a doer who thrives when she has structure, enrichment, and things to think about. Puzzle toys, training sessions, games of fetch, and daily physical activity are all things that make her feel fulfilled and balanced. Without outlets for her energy and brain, she can become frustrated, so she's looking for a home that understands and appreciates a working dog's needs.
