Meet Maluma 🐾 Maluma is a handsome 4–5-year-old Belgian Malinois with a gentle soul and the sweetest demeanor. While he shares an incredible bond with his sister, Shakira, Maluma is the softer half of this dynamic duo. On his own, Maluma is calm, affectionate, and easygoing. He’s more content to soak up love than seek out constant activity, preferring relaxed playtime, steady routines, and quality time with his people. He has a naturally sweet disposition and approaches the world with kindness and curiosity rather than intensity. Everything changes when Shakira is around. With his sister by his side, Maluma comes alive—joining her in playful zoomies and spirited games of chase. He may not be the instigator, but he’s more than happy to follow her lead, matching her energy and enjoying every second of their shared adventures. Maluma is a loving, loyal companion who brings balance to his bond with Shakira—gentle where she is fierce, calm where she is bold. Together they are inseparable, but on his own, Maluma is simply a sweet, affectionate boy ready to give his heart to a family who will cherish him.

Maluma would love a home that appreciates his calm and affectionate nature. He thrives with steady routines and quality time with his people. While he enjoys playful moments, he's not a high-energy dog on his own and prefers relaxed playtime.

Ongoing Health

Maluma is a healthy boy! All our animals receive a full health work-up, are up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before adoption.

Training & Support

Maluma is generally easygoing, but he does come alive with his sister Shakira and enjoys playtime. He is happy to follow her lead.

Transportation

Maluma is currently located in Angleton, TX. He is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, TN & KY, IL, IN, WA, & OH. We offer custom transports with comfortable, air-conditioned buses, two drivers, and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook event page. Your adoption coordinator will help find the closest transport pick-up location. The transportation fee ranges from $150-$500, which covers transport and all vetting. Pick-up at our Angleton, TX location is $75.
