Meet Puppy!
Puppy is a spirited almost four-year-old Australian Cattle Dog and Shepherd mix with energy and a heart as big as her dreams of finding a forever family. With her fawn brindle coat adorned with white accents and spotted paws, Puppy is the definition of a fun-loving, goofy companion who is always ready to brighten up your day! She has blossomed into a bundle of love and joy, earning a "Basic Obedience" certificate and knowing commands like "Place," "Heel," and "Sit" like a pro. Puppy thrives on learning new tricks and her eagerness to please makes her a joy to train. She's as friendly with strangers as she is with her trusted humans! Puppy gets along well with her current dog and cat friends, and has become fast friends with a toddler. However, her high energy and a few quirks make her best suited to a home with older children who understand her need for personal space, especially around food.
Ideal Home
Puppy thrives with a family who can provide an active lifestyle with lots of exercise, a fenced yard, and a commitment to help her grow in confidence and trust. Her ideal home would have older children who understand her need for personal space, especially around food.
Ongoing Health
Puppy faces challenges with resource-guarding, especially around food, and may snap if she feels her food is at risk. She is an incredibly loving dog with much to give, but she thrives with a family who can provide the training and understanding to help her manage these tendencies positively.
