Meet Grover Chillington!

Grover's journey began in a high-kill shelter in Houston, where he was sadly placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, a wonderful foster family stepped in to save him, and we're so grateful they did because Grover is absolute perfection! He's a medium-sized boy, weighing around 48 pounds, and while he was initially thought to be older, multiple vet visits suggest he's likely 2-3 years old, definitely not older than three. Grover embodies the word "chill" and has an old soul. He loves being part of his family's activities, whether that's relaxing in the backyard, going for a leisurely walk, or finding the coziest spot for a nap. He enjoys the outdoors and exploring but isn't a high-energy athlete; a few daily walks and quality time with his people are all he needs to be happy. Even with free rein on a farm, he stays close to his foster dad and is excellent off-leash.

Ideal Home

Grover would thrive in a home that offers plenty of affection, a soft place to sleep, and people who appreciate having a devoted canine companion by their side.

Ongoing Health

Grover is currently finishing up heartworm treatment. He is fully vaccinated, on prevention, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Grover is fully house-trained and has excellent house manners. He settles nicely indoors, isn't destructive, and gets along with everyone he meets. While he can be a little shy initially, he quickly warms up and enjoys belly rubs. He's not a big barker.
