Frankie

This is Frankie, a handsome and loving young Akita boy estimated to be between 2 and 3 years old. He came to us as a stray from Detroit, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but his future is bright and full of potential! Frankie is incredibly sweet, overflowing with affection, and eager to shower his forever family with hugs and Akita leans. He's already neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, on prevention, and microchipped. He knows basic commands and is motivated by treats, making him a joy to train. He also enjoys car rides!

Ideal Home

Frankie would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention. He needs a securely fenced yard to accommodate his large size (he currently weighs 104 pounds and has room to grow!). Because of his stature and strength, we recommend a home with children over 8 years old. He cannot live with cats.

Ongoing Health

Frankie is up-to-date on vaccinations and on prevention. He is already neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

Frankie knows basic commands and is treat-motivated, which will be a great asset for continued training. As an Akita, he will do best with owners experienced with the breed.
