SUGAR

Sugar is a sweet mama dog who found herself on the streets near Memphis for three long years. Sadly, she experienced three difficult pregnancies with no survivors due to the dangerous environment. Thankfully, The Long Way Home Rescue received a call about a very pregnant beagle and her Aussie friend and immediately said "yes!" Sugar's approximate date of birth is February 14, 2021. She has proven to be one of the most exceptional mothers the rescue has ever had, and all her puppies have now found their forever homes, so it's her turn to find love! The rescue is incredibly grateful that this precious family was entrusted to their care and is eager to help Sugar find her perfect forever home.

Ideal Home

A fenced-in yard is a must for Sugar's safety and happiness.

Ongoing Health

Sugar is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment, which she is responding to very well.

Training & Support

The rescue staff is diligent in crate training and house training all their animals, and Sugar has benefited from this dedicated support.

• All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and socialized.
