JOEY

Joey is a super cute, energetic, and playful pup who is approximately 2 years old. He has beautiful golden tan fur and captivating green eyes. Joey absolutely adores people, loves to snuggle, and enjoys going for walks. He currently lives with foster dog siblings and particularly enjoys some spirited play with his foster sister, who is larger than him.

Ideal Home

Joey would do best in a home without small pets. He would also enjoy having another dog his size or larger to romp and play with. However, Joey would also be happy as an only dog, as he really loves his people and would appreciate having all your attention to himself!

Ongoing Health

Joey is currently heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment. He is still adoptable during his treatment period.

Training & Support

Joey walks well on a leash and has mastered basic commands like SIT, STAY, and DOWN. He is also polite and will sit and wait for his food until given the "ok" to eat. He is crate trained for both workdays and nights, and he enjoys outdoor breaks and a daily walk. Inside the home, Joey has not exhibited any destructive behaviors around furniture.
