Bonzo Wigglebutt

Bonzo is a sweet, 2.5-month-old German Shepherd mix with a handsome black and tan coat. He may be a bit shy at first, but with a little patience, he'll blossom into an incredibly affectionate and loyal companion. He enjoys playing with his siblings and learning from the older dogs in his foster home, showing great adaptability and a desire to please. Bonzo is a natural follower and loves to stick close to his pack. He's settling into a good routine, including regular meals, playtime, and sleeping through the night. His favorite thing is to snuggle up close once he feels safe and trusts you. He'll offer quiet loyalty and deep connection to a patient and loving adopter.

Ongoing Health

Bonzo is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He will also receive a heartworm test and is microchipped with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Bonzo is learning to follow an established routine, including kennel time and sleeping through the night. Like all puppies, he will benefit from continued positive reinforcement for potty training and leash walking.

Bonzo is currently in the Houston, Texas area. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
