She's still growing and gaining weight, but she's already making wonderful progress. Silhouette is naturally friendly, social, and eager to be part of your life. She loves being around people, gets along well with other dogs, and brings a warm, easygoing energy wherever she goes. She'll happily greet you at the door, follow you around like a shadow, and remind you daily about the beauty of second chances. Silhouette has left her past behind and is ready for a life full of love, stability, and belonging. She's waiting for a family to nurture her, spoil her, and include her in everyday life. Silhouette is looking for a family who will continue to nurture her, spoil her a little, and let her be part of everyday life. While she hasn't been formally tested with children, she is generally friendly and social with dogs and people, so she would likely do well in a family with kids.

Silhouette is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She is still gaining healthy weight, and her care and nutrition are helping her thrive.

Transportation
Silhouette is located in Houston, TX, but transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are also available to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be prepared to use one of these services if you wish to follow your adopted dog during transport.
