Vader

Vader is a handsome 1.5-year-old, 45-pound boy who is house-trained and ready to leave shelter life behind! He is still very much a puppy at heart and adores his humans. Tennis balls and all kinds of toys are his love language. He'll want to sleep next to you, cuddle on the couch, and follow you from room to room. A family who can channel that big energy and keep him company is all this boy needs. Vader is friendly and playful with other dogs, but he does have a quirk: he has shown he will guard items he feels are high value. This is a behavior that can be managed, and we are happy to give advice if you need it, but for this reason, Vader needs to go to an only-pet home. He can also be standoffish with certain new people and might need some space while getting used to them, but treats help a lot! Vader is a lovable and smart boy, sometimes a little too smart for his own good! He appreciates the time with his humans so much that he doesn't like being left alone.

Ideal Home

A family who can channel Vader's big energy and keep him company. He needs to go to an only-pet home due to guarding tendencies. He would do best in a home where someone is home more often than not.
