Violet

Violet is a beautiful 5-year-old Labrador/Kelpie mix with a soul-warming gaze. She arrived at K9 Kindness with a large growth near her tail, and the future looked uncertain. Her foster was even prepared to provide hospice care. Thankfully, after surgery, the pathology report revealed no cancer cells – a miracle!

Violet is incredibly sweet, loves attention, and is just as content relaxing on a soft bed as she is soaking up affection. She found comfort in her foster mom's lap during fireworks. She's house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent house manners, only joining the furniture when invited. Violet is dog-friendly and enjoys calm canine companions who respect her space. She can be a little shy with new people but warms up quickly.

Ideal Home

Violet is looking for a home where life is a little more relaxed due to an old leg injury that occasionally causes her foot to hyperextend after a lot of activity. A home that offers leisurely strolls, cozy beds, and plenty of love is ideal for her.

Ongoing Health

Violet had surgery to remove a large growth, which was thankfully found to be non-cancerous. She is also scheduled for a spay and dental procedure.

Training & Support

Violet is house-trained, crate-trained, and has wonderful house manners. She can be a little unsure of new visitors but warms up quickly.
