Rosco

Rosco is a handsome 2-year-old Bulldog Boxer mix with a striking white coat and a red mask. He's a loving and intelligent boy who weighs about 65lbs. Rosco is a true people-dog; he's incredibly affectionate, a total kiss-aholic, and very in tune with his humans' emotions. He's a "velcro dog" who wants to be by your side, whether that means following you around the yard, waiting patiently outside a closed door, or cuddling up when you're seated. You'll be charmed by his expressive eyes and gentle nature. He's not a drooler, which is a plus for such a cuddly companion, and he has a sweet habit of licking your hand as you pass by. Rosco is also quite communicative and will even let you know when other dogs need to go out or have had an accident! He's a smart cookie who learns quickly and listens well, though he can have a touch of bulldog stubbornness. He's comfortable with other dogs, letting them take the lead, and he's been cat-tested and approved, though he still gets a bit excited around them. He's also perfectly potty-trained and has been trained not to jump up.

Ideal Home

Rosco would love a home where he can be close to his people. He may be a little strong for very young children, so a family with older kids would be ideal.

Training & Support

Rosco is well-adjusted and has learned many manners during his time in foster care. He is potty-trained and has been trained not to jump up. He is communicative and understands commands but can be a bit stubborn at times, as is typical for his breed.
