A little about them

Meeko is a loving, intelligent, and loyal dog with a playful, goofy personality. Once he trusts someone, he forms strong bonds and enjoys affection and time with his family. He is observant, protective, eager to learn, and thrives with routine, structure, physical activity, and mental stimulation.

Ideal Home

Meeko does well with other dogs after slow, proper introductions. He lives and plays well with two dogs in his foster home, but should be fed separately from other dogs. He gets along very well with cats and enjoys playing with them. He is gentle and playful with children ages 5 and older; his behavior around toddlers and very young children is unknown.

Meeko benefits from patient, confident guidance and gradual introductions to unfamiliar people and new situations. He can become overstimulated in exciting environments but settles more easily with calm redirection.

Training & Support

Meeko still needs work with crate training and is not yet fully comfortable spending extended periods in a crate. He can sometimes be stubborn or ignore commands when unmotivated, but he responds well to patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and clear expectations.

Ongoing Health

Meeko is vaccinated and neutered.
