Sunny

Sunny is a beautiful, handsome, sweet, gentle, yet strong and energetic Lemon and White Hound/Pointer mix boy. We estimate his age at 8 years old and he weighs about 60 pounds. He was found by a neighbor in January 2023 in a pitiful state – bloody, wounded, skeletal, weak, starved, and too exhausted to stand. Thankfully, his beautiful spirit was quickly restored with food, medical care, and love. He has been treated for heartworm and tick-borne illnesses, and he has been neutered – hooray! Amazingly, he still loves people, and he's friendly with both dogs and cats. He is really good on his leash, enjoys playing with toys, and loves his meals and treats. His teeth are extremely worn down from his harsh, cruel former life, and one of his eyes was lost. But overall, he is happy, healthy, and enjoying life, thank goodness and knock on wood. He loves being outside in a fenced yard and has perfect indoor manners, whether in his crate or in his designated living area. He would truly make a sweet, easy-going companion for a nice person in need.
