Monte

Monte and his brother Mojo found themselves in a tough spot after being picked up as strays. Both boys were battling pneumonia and also had cherry eye, a surgery that can be costly and often deters potential adopters. Sadly, this meant their chances of finding a home were slim. Thankfully, Monte got his second chance! He's now healthy, feeling great, and ready for his cherry eye surgery. Most importantly, he's ready to find his forever home!

Monte is a sweet boy who loves going for walks and enjoys a good cuddle with his people. He does best in playgroups with one or two other dogs, preferably females. Monte is a little under-socialized and would thrive in a home that will continue helping him experience the world with more walks, outings, and positive social time. He’s truly a diamond in the rough, and with the right guidance, he will blossom into an incredible companion. Monte is about 1.5–2 years old and is looking for a home experienced with large, powerful breeds that understands the needs of dogs like him.

Monte is recovering from pneumonia and will need surgery for cherry eye. He is otherwise healthy and feeling great!
