Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, spayed female Pointer/Australian Cattle dog mix weighing around 35 pounds. She's a bundle of joy, playfulness, and sweetness, nicknamed "Dollop of Daisy." She loves zoomies, cuddling, and playing with other dogs. Daisy was rescued from a euthanasia list after being returned to a shelter and is now looking for her forever home where she can shine.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home with a securely fenced yard for playtime and exploring. She would love another friendly dog to be her companion and playmate, as she gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. Children 10 years or older who understand how to respect a shy dog would be a good fit. She can be left alone in the house when you're out, but keep shoes put away as she finds them fascinating!
Ongoing Health
Daisy is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Daisy is a well-mannered girl who is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on leash without reactivity, and is crate-trained. She does not exhibit resource guarding and is a polite toy and treat sharer. She is food-motivated, making training fun. Daisy can be shy when meeting new people, especially men, and may bark or keep her distance initially. With patience, gentle voices, and space, she warms up and becomes affectionate and cuddly. A calm home with a predictable routine will help her feel secure.
