Mochi Magic the Happy Pup

Mochi is a magical, happy-go-lucky pup with a heart of gold, ready to find his forever home! We believe Mochi is a Cur/Pittie mix, but as with many rescues, this is our best guess. His dark brindle coat is stunning, sleek, and stylish! Mochi is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs about 66 pounds. He loves to give big bear hugs and might just try to sneak into your lap, but you won't mind!

Ideal Home

Mochi is incredibly people-oriented and greets everyone with a wagging tail and a smile. He has lived happily with a young child and would make a perfect playmate. He would do best in a home with medium to low energy female dogs, similar to his foster siblings, but could also thrive as a solo dog. Mochi would be happiest in a home with a yard, but could adapt to apartment living due to his personality. We recommend him for a home with kids aged 10 and up. Mochi is not recommended for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Mochi is up to date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Mochi sometimes gets a little excited on leash and would do best with someone who can handle his enthusiasm. He is very food motivated, already knows "sit" and "stay," and takes treats gently, making further training enjoyable. His favorite treat is beef jerky! He loves his toys and enjoys carrying them around and doing "inventory" before playtime.

Transportation

Mochi is currently available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and the East Coast. He can be transported via USDA licensed semi-truck or a 3LP-run van. You will be able to follow his journey on a private Facebook event page. An adoption coordinator can help you find the closest transport pick-up location.
