This handsome two-year-old boy was rescued from a kill shelter in San Antonio and, while he's safe now, he carries some emotional scars. Scout is currently in boarding with wonderful volunteers who are helping him learn to trust and build his confidence, one small step at a time. He’s a gentle soul with soulful eyes who quietly observes before deciding you’re his person. The bond you’ll form with a dog like Scout, who learns to trust you, is incredibly rewarding. He’s looking for a patient family who will give him the time and space to decompress and discover what it means to finally belong. In return, you'll witness a beautiful transformation from a fearful dog to a cherished family member. His rescue gave him a second chance; now he’s hoping for his first real home.
