Lex is the epitome of a good time! She's a bouncy, playful pup who is loving of everyone and excited to make new friends, whether they're human or canine. Lex knows how to have fun no matter where she is and is constantly booming with joy. She's the queen of zoomies, kisses, and tug-of-war. When she first met her foster family, she ran up with a wagging tail and a huge smile, immediately showering them with affection. Lex loves to play hard with dogs, and she's full of energy! Lex is a Pitbull Cattle Dog mix with beautiful cattle spotting and super cute pointed ears. She's 56lbs of pure happiness! In playgroup, she did great with all kinds of dogs, playing with most of them for extended periods. She has a rougher play style but is considerate of her playmates and good at reading vibes. Lex played the hardest with more confident females who enjoyed an energetic playmate. She would likely do well in a home with males or females, though she seems to prefer the ladies. Just be prepared for them to play all day long!
Ideal Home
Lex would thrive in a home with a yard and an active owner who is familiar with the energy levels and characteristics of cattle dogs. She is definitely a wild child who would bring immense joy to the right family. While she hasn't been kid-tested, we believe she would love children, especially older kids who can handle her playful, energetic nature.

Training & Support
Lex's leash skills still need some perfecting. She can pull a bit when she's excited to meet new people, but she's the type of dog who would train exceptionally well with consistent guidance.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real-time, receive photo updates, and connect with fellow adopters through a private Facebook event page.
