Baker Buddy is approximately 1 year old, weighs around 46 lbs, and we believe he may be a Pittie/Lab mix. He's happy without being wild, playful without being over-the-top, affectionate without being clingy, and somehow manages to make friends wherever he goes. Add in his adorable smile and sweet baby face, and you've got a dog that's pretty hard not to fall in love with. Baker approaches life with so much enthusiasm that it's hard not to smile right along with him. He is dog friendly and has done great with every dog we've introduced him to. He's a social guy and genuinely enjoys making new friends. He loves to play and has a gentle play style. Baker also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. He is a smart boy who loves treats and enjoys learning. He already knows how to sit, is eager to please, and will be a lot of fun for someone who enjoys continuing training with their dog. He walks fairly well on leash too. Baker is crate trained, potty trained, and already has a wonderful foundation. He loves being outside and would happily spend hours exploring new smells, zooming around the yard, sunbathing, and playing with toys.
Ideal Home
We think Baker would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he has room to stretch his legs and enjoy all of his favorite activities. We haven't had the opportunity to see Baker with children just yet, but we can absolutely arrange a kid test upon request.

Training & Support
He is a smart boy who loves treats and enjoys learning. He already knows how to sit, is eager to please, and will be a lot of fun for someone who enjoys continuing training with their dog. He walks fairly well on leash too. Every now and then his excitement gets the best of him and he'll pull a little, but he's very easy to redirect and responds nicely to correction. With some continued practice, structure, and consistency, he'll be walking like a gentleman in no time. Baker is crate trained, potty trained, and already has a wonderful foundation.
