Meet Chelsea! This lovable, treat-motivated companion is eager to please and a true "work in progress" in the best way possible. Chelsea is a resilient girl who is soaking up everything the "good life" has to offer and is becoming braver every day. She's already mastered "sit" and is currently working hard on "down" and "come." She recently had her first zero-accident day and is very proud of herself!
Ideal Home
Chelsea prefers to be near her people and settles beautifully in a crate in the bedroom for a full 8 hours of sleep, especially with a "night-night treat." She is very treat-motivated. Her perfect family would be patient and loving, ready to continue her leash and potty training. She's also active and loves several long walks a day followed by a deep snuggle. As a "people" person, she loves being with her humans and would love a home where she's not alone for long stretches right away.
Ongoing Health
Chelsea is still learning, but no specific ongoing health conditions are mentioned.
Training & Support
Chelsea is still learning that kitchen counters aren't for her and that she doesn't need to eat her dinner in record time. On walks, she can be a little timid when she sees other dogs or loud bikes, but with a treat, she can politely sit and watch them pass by or walk right on through. She hasn't met cats or young children yet, but she absolutely adores the young adults in her foster home. She promises to reward your time and training with a lifetime of snuggles and loyalty and is just looking for someone to show her the ropes and provide some clear boundaries.
