Tamera Honey is the epitome of a sweet family dog! She melts into every pet and makes every interaction feel like the best part of her day. Her affection is over-the-top and all-in, a trait that Shepherd lovers will adore. Beyond her cuddly nature, Tamera Honey is amazing with kids, dog-friendly, and respectful around cats. She's a smart, special girl who is ready to bring joy into your life.
Ideal Home
Tamera Honey would thrive in a semi-active home that enjoys neighborhood walks, a little adventure, and lots of affection. A home with a backyard would be ideal for her to stretch her legs and soak up the sunshine. Apartment living will not be a good fit for her. She's wonderful with children, including those as young as 7, showing a gentle and patient demeanor.
Ongoing Health
Tamera Honey is believed to be a German Shepherd mix, approximately 12 years old and weighs 58 lbs. As with any rescue, her exact age and breed cannot be guaranteed.
Training & Support
Tamera Honey is a treat-motivated and eager-to-please girl who already knows many tricks, including sit, down, shake, spin, roll over, and speak! She walks fairly nicely on a leash, though she may pull occasionally out of excitement. She is crate trained and potty trained. With consistency and positive reinforcement, any additional training will be a fun and rewarding experience. She is dog-friendly and prefers slightly slower introductions before playtime. If play gets too rough, she will offer subtle corrections, much like an older sister setting boundaries. She has shown respect around cats and did not chase them.
