Penny is a rising 3-year-old, 50-pound sweetheart with a playful spirit, a soft heart, and a talent for making her people laugh. She can be a little shy at first and likes to take in her surroundings before jumping in, but once she knows you're a friend, she's all cuddles, loyalty, and love. This silly girl is never far from her favorite toys and can always find a reason to play. She enjoys other dogs, loves soaking up the sunshine, and has a goofy streak that keeps her foster family smiling. Whether she's carrying a toy, lounging in a sunny spot, or curled up beside her favorite person, Penny is happiest simply being part of the family. Ongoing Health

Heartworm positive dogs will become foster to adopt until the dog has been fully treated and tested heartworm negative at our clinic. Heartworm treatment is provided at no cost to the adopter.

Training & Support

Penny is described as shy at first, taking time to warm up to new surroundings and people.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adoptions must have a vet reference, a meet and greet, and a home visit with current pets.
• Adoption Fee includes a microchip, all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, and current on recommended preventions.
• Applications are processed in the order they are received. Please give us a couple of days to begin processing your application as we are a volunteer-based organization.
