Freckles, wiggles, and a happy little hop in her step – that's Pippi Longstocking! She's a petite, bright-eyed, and spunky girl who approaches life like it's a brand new playground. Pippi is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 37 lbs. She's a happy, medium-sized dog with plenty of energy and a heart full of love to give. When she gets affection, she gets almost giddy with enthusiasm, making her a truly delightful companion.
Ideal Home
Pippi would thrive with an active family who enjoys movement and play. She’s looking for a home that can provide clear boundaries and structure to help her channel her happy energy. She has a mixed and inconclusive response to cats, so we'd love to see her in a home with a cat or two to get a better understanding of their interactions.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are noted in her description.
Training & Support
Pippi has great leash manners and responds well to correction. She’s crate-trained and walks into her crate without fuss. She benefits from clear boundaries and dog friends who can advocate for themselves, so she may not be the best fit for a dog that is a pushover or lacks confidence in setting boundaries.
