Hi there! I’m Pinkie Pie, a quirky and playful 11-month-old pup who's ready to steal your heart! I'm a smart cookie, mastering commands like "sit," "down," "place," "touch," "spin," and "roll over" in just a couple of months. I'm super food-motivated, so a simple piece of kibble will have me performing my best tricks! I absolutely love to play – fetching balls, playing tug, and zooming around with my squeaky toys are my jam. I may be part Great Pyrenees and weigh about 40 lbs, but I don't think I'll get much bigger. I'm already crate-trained and sleep soundly in my crate all night. I was originally from the south, but I've discovered I adore the snow and cold!
Ideal Home
I'm a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and playing with other dogs. I would thrive in a home with a private fenced backyard for playtime, or in a neighborhood where walks are low-traffic. My ideal humans will enjoy training and can help me build calm leash skills, as I can get a little too excited to greet everyone I see on walks (frustrated greeter reactivity). I've lived happily with other dogs and would love a puppy pal to share my adventures with. I haven't met any cats yet.
Ongoing Health
All dogs at Wags are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age-appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days.
Training & Support
I'm a bright pup who loves to learn and respond well to positive reinforcement. I'm already crate trained! While I'm eager to greet everyone, my new family can help me continue building calm leash skills.
